The RAWCS project has just had printed in Jakarta 1000 guides for distribution in Indonesia .Funding was provided by The Rotary Club of Glen Innes Evening & Satellite with a Rotary District 9640 Grant . Rotarian Don Hall has now arrived in Bali under the ROTARY AUSTRALIA WORLD COMMUNITY PROGRAM ( RAWCS ) to meet with potential partners for the project . First meeting was with Carlos Ferrandiz Director of HARAPAN SUMBAWA PROYEK . Carlos had just been recognised by the Bali YAK Magazine for his work with under privileged Indonesian families . Carlos was please to receive the information as he has just received a donation of two acres of land for new buildings .Part of the land is intended to be used for the establishment of a learning farm . This was exciting news & Don on behalf of the Priscilla Hall Memorial Hall Foundation was able to offer support for the project.
Also at the meeting was Australian Hamish Abbott who delivered in JULY 2015 the first Field Guides which he printed from the PHMF web site . Details were mentioned in the PHMF NEWSLETTER dated 16th June 2015. He was able to offer practical suggestions on other health issues facing families . He will be visiting Carlos in 2016. A very encouraging start to the program .
