Because of continuous forest fires, the people of Central Kalimantan are suffering from the worst haze in history. The air pollution level has reached 3,000 – more than 10 times the hazardous level!         What are the consequences?

The air has become a yellow colour. People have difficulty breathing, suffer from constant headaches and more and more babies, children and pregnant mothers are experiencing respiratory tract issues .

How can you help?

Yayasan Usaha Mulia  (YUM) is already on the ground providing the necessary first aid attention they need, distributing masks and leaflets on how to protect themselves from the smoke. YUM need your help to buy oxygen tanks, oxygen refills, N95 masks, milk, vitamin C, eye drops and to produce more leaflets for the community.
