RUMAH SEHAT HUMANITARIAN PROJECT BALI

The Rumah Sehat team under the leadership of Diving Ving and founders Australians Ray & Sue Bishop work 24/7 to coordinate accommodation , food & medical assistance for up to 400 people who have had to leave their homes due to the MT Agung Volcano. PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE EAST BALI CLOSED DUE TO MT AGUNG VOLCANO

Bali has been on the edge in recent weeks. The threat level from the Mt Agung Volcano was raised to MAXIMUM and hundreds of volcanic EARTHQUAKES BEGAN TO RATTLE THE AREA ON A DAILY BASIS. The PEC classroom is part of the RUMAH SEHAT CLINIC facility which is now a evacuee center. The PEC was established to assist unemployed youth to be trained in basic English & Computer skills to seek employment... 

PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE STUDENTS SUPPORT ROTARY WHEEL CHAIR PROGRAM

In addition to being taught Computer & English Skills the Students had the opportunity to assist others by being part of the Rotary wheel chair program  for people with disabilities around the area  of PHMF School. Rotarian Ray Bishop commented that the students were happy with this activity  because they could  learn  about  social life in that we need to care for  others.  Here... 

RUMAH SEHAT DELIVERS SOLAR LIGHTS TO REMOTE MOUNTAIN BALI VILLAGE

Rumah Sehat Bali have delivered 15  Solar Lights on behalf of the Foundation who have been able to partner with the Rotary Club of Glen Innes under the buy one give one illumination program . The Gitgit Village is a TWO hour very hard walk up into the mountain over very rough terrain. The students are making excellent progress in their English Class at PEC . This is shown in the video below taken by their Teacher who would be pleased to see these verbal results that will assist all students when seeking employment. TRASH HERO AMED VISIT STUDENTS AT PEC BALI

The PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE BALI students recently had a presentation from the Amed team TRASH HERO who clean Bali. They pick up the trash to keep the paradise. Together, week after week, step by step, they make a change that we want to see in the world. The PHMF is pleased to see the PEC being utilised for presentations that need digital  facilities. END OF THE FIRST TERM AT PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE (PEC) AT BALI

After 6 months at Priscilla Education Centre (PEC) the first group of intensive students finished the course. There were 12 students left to place for a job training. Most of them are working in South Bali, in Gianyar, where they will have more opportunities It was a big change for them, leaving their family homes and living on their own in rooms near the working place. THE JOURNEY OF THE PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE BALI, part 2

The first group of students started in October 2016 at the PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE ( PEC ) One group of 15 students had finished junior/ senior Highschool. That is why they could come every day to The PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE  ( PEC ) at 10 AM for 2 hours English- and 2 hours Computer class. These were the intensive students. THE JOURNEY OF THE PRISCILLA EDUCATION CENTRE BALI

HOW IT ALL STARTED : The Foundation is pleased to have partnered with Rumah Sehat to build a Vocational Training Centre in Eastern Bali to teach Basic English, Computer skills & job interview skills to obtain work in the local Tourist Industry.
