Adolescent reproductive health education and DFG kit distribution in Haumenibaki village, West Amanuban Sub-district, South Central Timor District, West Timor was carried out on August 30th 2020, at the Bethesda Haumenibaki church in collaboration with the Nulle Puskesmas (Health center) team.

This program is targeted at adolescent women in to help them understand reproductive health and obtain safe and healthy sanitary pads. The education about women’s reproductive health was delivered by Dr. Megan and was attended by 30 participants consisting of teenagers and reproductive age women. This is the second phase of distribution. A total of 70 DFG kits (first and second phases) had been distributed to the Haumenibaki village area. This activity was also attended by the head of Haumenibaki Village and the Pastor of the Haumenibaki Bethesda Church.

The community, church, and village government who received the DFG Kit were very grateful for the assistance provided, they hoped that the programs from FMCH Indonesia could run well and be blessed by God. They also hope that Haumenibaki village could be proposed to becoming the partnership village of FMCH Indonesia.

The activities went well and complied with the health protocols. Before entering the activity room, all participants had body temperature taken (temperature check), wore a face mask, and cleaned their hands using hand sanitizer to reduce the spread of COVID-19. In addition, participants needed to maintain a distance from others of at least 1 meter while in the activity room.
