The Australia & New Zealand (ANZA) Social Welfare Committee was visited by Don Hall last month and he heard how the students at MKGR Elementary School needed pianikas for their music learning program so he kindly pledged 32 units to be donated by PHMF, enough for the whole class to take part all together. 

There was much excitement when the children received the instruments, although it wasn’t particularly tuneful – they will have to get cracking with the music lessons now!

MKGR is one of the schools supported by the ANZA Student Sponsorship Program, a project that is been running for over 30 years and helps to keep Indonesian children from severely impoverished areas of Jakarta in school.
