Yayasan Prasetia Luhur Indonesia (YPLI) was formerly known as Goodwill Indonesia and provides scholarships for students in their final few semesters at either University of Indonesia or the Agricultural Institute at Bogor.

PHMF has over the years sponsored many students in this incredibly worthwhile project nurturing future leaders. The 6 monthly Get Together is a chance for sponsors to meet their students. David Adams is shown in the photo together with Mickhael from last year (Forestry) and four from this year: Auerelia and Hardy (Economics & Business), Putri (Law) and Chusrul (Fisheries & Marine Science).

To be successful, students have to demonstrate financial necessity (some have lost their parents), write four essays in English and have a 45 minute interview. David has been involved in the selection process for several years and gave the keynote address at the last Get Together. Despite their own circumstances, every applicant has already given so much back to their community and we are very privlidged to be one of the major sponsors.
