HARAPAN SUMBAWA : Emergency assistance Program Floods Hu’u 2021

Harapan Sumbawa Project On the 28th February 2021 and the 9th March 2021, the district of Hu´u SUMBAWA suffered terrible floods provoking severe damages in the houses and belongings of the families.
The villages whom suffered the most severe damages were the villages of Daha,
Marada and Rasabou, with the following data:
1.- Village of Daha:
50 families suffered a total destruction of their houses.
24 families suffered severe structural damages in their houses.
Total of families: 74 families
2.- Village of Marada:
2 families suffered a total destruction of their houses.
6 families suffered severe structural damages in their houses.
Total of families: 8 families
3.- Village of Rasabou:
5 families suffered severe structural damages in their houses.
Total of families: 5 families
Total of families in the three villages: 87 families

The program we carried out consisted in donate to each of the members of the
87 families whom loss their homes, the following items:
– 1 Pair of sandals
– 1 Trouser (men and boys)
– 1 T-shirt (men and boys)
– 1 Dress (women and girls)
– 1 Jilbab (women and girls)
All the items donated were given directly by our team to each of the 87 families
whom loss their homes.
